FUGUS 2018/2019 Session Appointed Student's Representative Council (SRC)

The administrative management of the Federal University, Gusau has confirmed the appointment of Students' Representative Council (SRC) that will takeover/oversee the Students' Affairs of the University for 2018/2019 Academic Session.

In an interactive session with the Newly Appointed Executive Members, Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Magaji Garba, Congratulated the leaders and assured them his utmost commitment towards serving the needs of the Students. The Vice Chancellor, maintained that, the University will work concomitantly with the Students' Leaders for a triumphant quittance  of service. He further thanked the recently graduated Students' Leaders of the University, under the leadership of Comr. Abbas Isah Imam, an administration that he remarks as "An Excellent Leadership".

In his address, the Dean of Students' Affairs Division, Professor M.L Mayanchi, mentioned the Newly Appointed Executive Members with their portfolios as already approved by the University's Governing Council, as follows:

1. Umar Muhammad Umar- President
2. Fatima Ahmad Musa- Vice President
3. Muhammad Sani- Secretary General
4. Nura Sani K/Kwashi- Assistant Secretary General
5. Comrade Jibril Almustapha- PRO I
6. Abdulaziz Muhd- Financial Secretary
7. Adawiyya B Muh'd- Treasurer
8. Faisal Adam Na-Ruma- Dir. Of Protocols
9. Ibrahim Laminu Gambo PRO II
10. Kabiru Rabiu- Social Director
11. Maryam S Hassan- Food Director
12. Imrana Hassan- Welfare Director
13. Muhd Kabir Ahmad- Dir. Of Sports
14. Sanusi Rabiu- Dir. Of Sales
15. Yakubu Muh'd Chindo- Auditor General.

The Dean Students' Affairs, also urged the newly appointed leaders to be law abiding, and Good Ambassadors of the University at every level.

In his response, the newly appointed President, Ustz. Comr.  Umar Muhammad Umar, thanked the University Management and prayed Allah the most Exalted to grant his leadership the fortitude to discharge their duties accordingly and responsibly. He further, observed a prolonged prayer for the well-being of the University today and forever.
